Product details
Fixed matrices assume everything in the building speaks HDMI. Real installations rarely do. This chassis is card-based: each of the eight input and eight output slots takes whatever that particular signal path needs — HDMI, DVI, HDBaseT, fiber, 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI, VGA, YPbPr or CVBS — so a broadcast camera on SDI, a legacy signage player on VGA and a fiber run to the far side of a campus all land in the same frame.
Switching is seamless across the whole matrix, with no black frame between sources, and the outputs can be grouped into a video wall with character overlay for labelling or lower-thirds. Built-in equalization, scaling, re-timing and drive on every card mean each path is regenerated rather than merely patched.
4K series cards run 4K60 at RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4; 2K cards handle up to 1920×1200 at 60Hz. Audio de-embedding, EDID management, and control via front panel, IR, RS-232, TCP/IP and web GUI are standard. The same platform scales to 16×16, 36×36 and 80×80 frames if the project outgrows eight.
Every one of these is specified rather than ordered — the card mix depends entirely on what is at each end. Send us the signal list and we will lay out the frame and quote it.
Feeding an LED video wall?
This unit is the front end of a much bigger picture. Every LED wall we ship needs a clean, stable source path in front of the receiving cards — and the cost of the electronics is a rounding error next to the screen itself. If you are specifying signal gear because a wall is coming, talk to us before you buy the boxes: we will size the whole chain and quote the display with it.
