Product details
When the rack is genuinely far from the screen — a different floor, the far side of a warehouse, a control room behind an auditorium — this is the kit that holds up. HDBaseT 3.0 carries 4K60 the full 328ft (100m) over one Cat6a or Cat7 cable, with no drop to 1080p to make the distance.
What separates it from a plain video extender is everything riding alongside. USB 2.0 runs at up to 350Mbps for a camera or a touch panel at the display end. eARC and ARC bring audio back from the TV to the transmitter, so the screen’s own apps still reach the rack-mounted amplifier. A gigabit Ethernet pass-through means the display, signage player or control processor at the far end gets a network drop without pulling a second cable. Two-way IR and RS-232 handle control in both directions.
It runs 18Gbps with 4:4:4 colour at 4K60 and passes LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio untouched. Audio can also be de-embedded at the transmitter for a local zone feed. Two-way 24V PoC powers the pair from whichever end has a socket.
Feeding an LED video wall?
This unit is the front end of a much bigger picture. Every LED wall we ship needs a clean, stable source path in front of the receiving cards — and the cost of the electronics is a rounding error next to the screen itself. If you are specifying signal gear because a wall is coming, talk to us before you buy the boxes: we will size the whole chain and quote the display with it.
